Why the Western and Agricultural Industry?
The Western and Agricultural Industry is a place where you learn to do hard things, you learn to wake up early and to not quit until the job is done, you learn to be around death and truly appreciate the blessing of life, you learn that doing the right thing is the correct choice even when it's harder or cost more money, you learn to put God first, and most importantly you learn to put an animal or the land before yourself.
I want to share their stories and embrace their values in my images - because I think we can all agree that the world needs more cowboys.

Hi!
Hi! My name is Shade, yes pronounced just like you're standing in the "shade". I have spent the last decade immersed in the western industry - I have done everything from loping horses, working western events and trade shows across the nation, to capturing videos and pictures that freeze frame historic moments. I have learned to see the beauty in the everyday. My prayer before every photoshoot is that I will be able to capture my subject in the light in which He sees them.
